Boulettes Larder is one of the places that makes San Francisco special - equal parts pantry, chef's kitchen, and retreat from the bustle of the surrounding market and city. It's where I stumbled on this incredibly emollient hand crème a few years back, a special creation I think many of you will appreciate. This is a custom hand crème formulated specifically for chefs, but equally beneficial for all sorts of people who work vigorously with their hands - gardeners, artists, baristas and bartenders. The thing that makes it a stand-out is the way it was formulated to be absorbed quickly, which enables regular use while working. It is made in small batches, and hard to come by outside of b/L. The aloe and beeswax absolute impart a subtle, understated fragrance that doesn't compete with culinary work.
