b/L Grassgreen Pepper Blend
A complex combination of unusual peppercorns, including Grains of Paradise from Papua New Guinea, Red Pepper Berry from Tasmania, and Long Pepper from China. Also featured are Sarawak White Pepper, Black Pepper, and peppers from Sri Lanka, France, and Reunion Island near Africa’s Southeastern coast.
This blend is crafted in small batches by Chef Amaryll Schwertner of Boulette’s Larder—a chef’s pantry and eatery governed by her inventive palate.
The Grassgreen blend is aromatic, dynamic, warm, and somewhat acidic and spicy. It’s magic for finishing frittata or sautéed mushrooms. Anywhere your instinct tells you to bring in a grind of black pepper, it will do the job—but with more depth and mystery.
