Meyer Lemon & Bay Laurel Marmalade
With vibrant segments of chewy Meyer lemon peel, beautiful acidity, and an infusion of fresh, new-growth bay laurel, this marmalade is a pure expression of California's winter bounty. It is, hands down, our favorite June Taylor offering to date - and we have just eight cases of it.
In season together, June foraged the incredibly fragrant and tender bay laurel in nearby coastal West Marin. And the beautiful Meyer lemons came from a Northern California family farm. We love it spread impossibly thin beneath good goat cheese with a bit of arugula in a simple panini. A spoonful is perfect warmed with a splash of creme fraiche then drizzled over ricotta tortilla with toasted nuts. Or, spread simply atop a buttered slab of your favorite whole-grain toast.
June’s marmalades are hand-cut and traditionally stovetop-cooked. They are made with locally-grown fresh fruit from small family farms using sustainable agricultural practices.
