Meyer Maple Leaf Cocktail

Combine 2 ounces (1/4 cup) bourbon, 3/4 ounce (1 1/2 tablespoons) good maple syrup, 1 ounce (2 tablespoons) well-strained, freshly squeezed Meyer lemon juice, and the absolute smallest pinch of fine grain sea salt you can manage in a cocktail shaker filled with ice.

Shake vigorously and strain into a small, chilled glass (or glasses). We like this split between two tiny cordial glasses. Makes two small drinks, or one larger cocktail.
