Art Nouveau Diamond and Gold Ring
With a trio of feisty, prong-set, old European cut diamonds, accented by ten rose cut diamonds, this is a beautiful art nouveau example. The 15k gold setting has sea green plique-a-jour enamelwork, intricate gold detailing, leading to a square edge band. This is the prettiest of rings, with winks and flashes of diamonds, and beautiful translucency in the enamelwork.
Because of the delicate nature of the plique-a-jour work, we think of this as a special occasion ring, or weekend ring.
