Classic Linen Halter Apron

A modern update of a classic halter apron shape, and one of the easiest to wear. It's feminine, utilitarian; something easy to throw on, but considered.

This halter apron is made from black, 100% pure-flax Irish linen, and can be tied back, front, or, on either side. A grosgrain ribbon fitted with brass ends threads through the gathered neckline and ties behind the nape. There is plenty of fabric for wearing the apron slouchy or roomy, but we like to adjust the length with a single horizontal tuck and wind the ties around the waist a few times (pictured). Because it is pocketless, you get a smooth wrap. As far as fit goes - we've had it on cooks from 5 to 6 feet tall, and a good range of body types. Because it's adjustable, it works for a range of people. It's also fun to swap out the neck ribbon, on occasion, to thread in colored ribbon or fabric, for an unexpected bit of pattern or pop of color.

Each apron comes in a matching black linen drawstring bag for transport, storage, or gift-giving.

The aprons are made from absolutely beautiful, high-quality linen - durable but lightweight, pre-washed, and preshrunk. Care for your apron by either hand-washing, or machine-washing on a cool cycle, followed by a line-dry, or cool tumble. If machine washing, we remove the neck tie to maintain the longevity of the brass ribbon details.
