Iris Hantverk Cake Tester

For the enthusiastic baker, a proper cake tester. Beautifully crafted, this simple tool is inserted to assess the doneness of cakes as well as anything else you are baking or roasting, such as potatoes and other vegetables.

Crafted of oil treated birch and stainless steel.

Iris Hantverk tools and brushes have been sustainably produced in a Swedish workshop by a small collective since 1906. Each item is completely hand made and hand finished according to traditional Swedish practices.

Care: Wash the cake tester by hand with mild dish soap and warm water, and lay flat to dry. Oil the handle from time to time if the wood begins to appear a bit dry.
