Victorian Sapphire Ring
There are many things we love about this ring. It is a sweet, oval-cut Victorian sapphire with a buttercup setting and enamel work at the shoulders. The detailing at the shoulders leads to a simple, feminine 14k gold band. The color of the sapphire is what initially caught out attention; it’s a surreal, light cornflower blue (we’ll do our best to capture in different angles in the photos). We acquired this ring as Ceylon sapphire, but in this case it's hard to verify without further lab testing. Ceylon or not, it is a beautiful ring on the hand – on its own, or stacked with other rings.
