Vintage French Nutcrackers no. 1 to 5
A quirky Parisian market score. Each of these nutcrackers was designed to crack nuts of various sizes: Some have two grooves, one for larger walnuts and one for smaller hazelnuts. Other crackers have handles that flip around to adjust the size of the opening to suit the nut. We suspect they were made in the early-to-mid 20th Century, and love their thoughtful design. Each one has a lovely patina that evidences its age and use. It's nice to imagine their past lives.
Each nutcracker measures about 6 inches long.
Priced per nutcracker.
