Volte-Face Sunflower Oil

An incredible, golden-hued sunflower oil made from seeds harvested in the fall and dried in jute sacs on the roof of a barn. Come spring, they are cold-pressed and the unprocessed oil is poured into barrels where it naturally decants via gravity before bottling. You've never tasted anything quite like this - distinct nuttiness, vibrant, with a lingering spice finish, it's the perfect finishing oil. Use it in the way you would your very best, premium, extra-virgin olive oil - drizzled on greens, stews, pastas and tartines. It loves pairing up with pan-fried artichoke hearts and a wide spectrum of cheeses (soft/fresh/mild to hard/salty) in salads and over grilled or sauteed asparagus, broccolini, green beans and the like. Store in a cool, dark place.
